Bible Passport does not require an account, and we do not collect personal information to let you use the app. Your library, saved verses, notes and reading progress are stored locally on your device, not on our servers.
We do not ask for your name, email address, or any registration details to use the app. We do not sell data, and we do not run advertising trackers inside the app.
All of the above lives in a local database on your device. Uninstalling the app removes it.
Scripture text is retrieved from API.Bible, a third-party service that supplies licensed Bible translations. When the app requests a chapter, it sends the translation and passage identifiers necessary to fetch that text. Each successful delivery is also reported back to API.Bible, as required by the licence terms attached to that translation. No personal or device-identifying information is included in these requests beyond what is technically necessary to make them. Please refer to API.Bible's own privacy policy for how they handle that traffic.
If you have questions about this policy or how the app handles data, reach out to us on the Contact page or email support@biblepassport.app.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date above.
